    More About Attorney William Thayer

Bill, an experienced personal injury attorney, is now "of counsel" with a firm. He practiced personal injury and wrongful death claims and litigation from 1980 to 2021. Bill handled various types of injury claims such as construction site injury claims, automobile collision claims, and dog bite cases. He also served as an arbitrator of tort claims and was frequently asked to speak at legal education seminars.

Bill is licensed to practice in both Washington and Oregon, and admitted to practice in the Western District Federal Court of the State of Washington, the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, and the United States Supreme Court. He is a member of the Washington State Association for Justice and the Clark County Bar Association, and previously served as a judge pro tempore in Clark County District Court.

Bill's hardworking nature stems from growing up on a cattle ranch in southwestern Oregon and working in a lumber mill. He enjoys spending time with his family, fishing, fly tying, playing and coaching basketball and soccer, coaching mock trial, music, reading, and writing literary classics and novels.
