Earning his Juris Doctor from the University of Florida, as a student, Travis clerked for Stiles, Taylor & Grace, a workers’ compensation insurance defense firm, and for the United States Attorney’s office. Upon completion, he went to work for Levin Papantonio’s mass tort division, pursuing complex litigation cases across the county for 4 years, successfully representing plaintiffs in products liability cases involving the products Benicar, Invokana, and Essure, as well as businesses that suffered economic damages as a result of the BP Oil Spill.
