    More About Attorney Russell Araya

Hi, my name is Russ Araya. I am from Brooklyn, New York – born and raised – and grateful to say so. Although I come from a big city, I grew up in a neighborhood where we looked out for each other and took great pride in ourselves, our families, and our community.

My formidable parents ingrained in me a work ethic and sense of personal and civic responsibility that are the foundation of my being. I was the first in my family to complete university and the first to go to law school – my loving and persistent mother pre-ordained both. After landing my dream job as an assistant district attorney in my hometown, I rose to the rank of senior trial attorney prosecuting robbery, homicide, narcotics, rape, domestic violence, and child abuse cases. In the years that followed, I joined a medical malpractice defense firm in Manhattan, founded my own criminal defense firm, and followed my romantic heart to Colorado. But my greatest accomplishments are my two remarkable daughters, who unknowingly help make me a better version of myself every day.

In 2017, I found my home at Ramos Law, where as a bilingual attorney, my role is to be a man for others, who are doing their best to get through some of the most difficult moments of their lives. And it is here that I have the distinct privilege to work with some of the most talented group of decent, fun, and hardworking people, who willingly give of themselves to help others, including me. They are my family.

When I am not at the office, I am making memories with my girls; spending time with family, friends, and people, who fulfill my soul; and exercising my mind, body, and spirit. As a happy, single father, my vocation is to be the best parent, mentor, and role model to my daughters so that they too become responsible citizens and quality human beings. These are the legacies I am blessed to have inherited from my ethnically and culturally diverse family, mentors, and educators, and which I strive to pass onto and through my daughters.
