For more than 28 years, attorney John Ciccarelli has served Los Angeles, Pasadena, and surrounding communities as a dedicated champion of the rights of personal injury clients who fall victim to powerful corporations and unscrupulous individuals.
As the grandson of an immigrant, John saw from an early age the ways in which people with power, money, and influence can trample on the rights of those less fortunate—and get away with it—even in a country as great as America.
As a result of these experiences and in deference to his innate sense of justice, John has become a tireless advocate for the “common man.” While John is known for achieving significant financial rewards for his clients, to him, it’s just as important that to hold rule-breakers fully accountable for the damage they cause. He believes this is his way of protecting his neighbors and making our community a safer place for us all.
He has earned a reputation as a tenacious attorney who frequently sees cases through jury trial rather than accept a settlement he believes is less than his client deserves.
John has always been a multitasker—he worked full-time through law school and still managed to graduate first in his class. Now, he juggles his thriving legal practice with hobbies like martial arts, flying, ballroom dance, and SCUBA diving. John is a devoted husband to his wife of 34 years and father to their three grown children.
Education
John attended Whittier College School of Law, where he graduated Summa Cum Laude as Valedictorian in 1988. While pursuing his legal education, John also worked full-time as an insurance claims adjuster so that he could support his family and pay his tuition. This gave him valuable insight into how insurance companies work, including how many rely on less than stellar actions to avoid paying injured parties the full compensation to which they are legally entitled.
Despite the fact that his dedication to his family and to his work left John with only a few hours’ sleep most nights, John excelled at law school and earned numerous honors.
