Since graduating from the University of Alabama School of Law in 1994, Brenen has represented individuals and businesses in a wide variety of litigation matters throughout Alabama in both federal and state trial and appellate courts. Brenen has experience representing clients in a wide range of cases, including complex insurance coverage disputes and declaratory judgment actions; commercial litigation cases; products liability cases; professional malpractice actions; Worker’s Compensation cases; construction defect and construction injury cases; personal injury actions; and ERISA cases. In addition, Brenen provides counseling and advice to a number of the firm’s clients in a pre-litigation context, routinely providing detailed insurance coverage analyses and advice to clients at all stages of litigation.
Brenen is a member of the American Bar Association, the Alabama State Bar Association, the Defense Research Institute, and the Alabama Defense Lawyers Association. Brenen is also a member of the Birmingham Bar Association where he has served on the Public Service and Ethics Committees.
